A Night of Small Things…

Tonight I feel like I got a lot done, though you won’t see it much here. Some things you probably will notice are:

  • favicon – I created a favorites icon for the site and set it up. Doesn’t even look half bad if you ask me. Kinda rough creating something 16 pixels by 16 pixels.
  • bullet points (sorta) – I used the favicon to create a dragonbones logo based image to replace the default stars that come with this theme pack. Here again – I don’t think they look half bad if I do say so myself.
  • the gallery – I did some work cleaning up the ‘test gallery’ that I had created and I put up a new one. For right now, you’ll just see a handful of the sketches I did last year – picked at random – but later I’ll be adding more ‘real’ galleries.

I just have to point out again that the folks at WordPress really do make this quick and easy and so very customizable.

  1. Holy shit, this place looks freakin schweet already! Nice bookmark icon, too! How does one get one for herself? XOXO

  2. Thanks chica! Bookmark icons are pretty easy (conceptually). The tricky part is creating something recognizable with only 16 pixels by 16 pixels. As with all things web tech related, I’ll point to the One Who Knows Stuff for the whole story.

  3. Thanks for the advice you gave me on my blog post “The Artist Survival Kit.” I’m definitely going to keep all those suggestions in mind as I pack.
Your site looks really sweet. Isn’t wordpress great?
    Good job! 🙂
